If the Ottoman Empire had not been destroyed, the oil revenue within its borders would be such.

After the discovery of oil in 1860, the land lost by the Ottoman Empire constituted 55% of the world’s oil reserves. If the borders of the Ottoman State continued, the oil revenue would be $ 783 billion.




According to the oil revenues of 2013;

S.Arabia: $ 327 billion

Qatar: $ 107 billion

Iraq: $ 101 billion

Kuwait: $ 100 billion

Algeria: $ 68 billion

Libya: $ 63 billion

Bahrain: $ 17 billion
